Hi folks,
I'm writing to invite you to an exciting event hosted by the Folk Arts
Center of New England this Wednesday, January 15th, at 7 pm EST on Zoom. As
part of our 50th Anniversary celebrations, we're sharing FAC's Origin Story
https://www.facone.org/programs/online-events-50th-january.html,
presented by the Taylor siblings: Micki, Andy, Tina, and Mark. The event
will be hosted and moderated by Marcie Van Cleave.
For those of you who don't know me, my name is Sarah Bustin. I've been
dancing with the FAC since I was in elementary school, and I helped run the
Boston-based Tuesday Community Dance (TCD)
https://www.mladostfolk.com/tuesday-community-dance series on Zoom for
several years starting when the pandemic hit.
I'm part of the FAC 50th Anniversary SMART (Social Media Artistic Response
Team), and my team has put together some resources for promoting this
event. We hope you'll share these with your friends and dance groups
through email, social media, forums, or other means. I apologize for the
short notice, but we would greatly appreciate anything you can do to spread
the word. We're hoping for as many attendees with cameras on as possible
for the live Q&A at the end of the event.
Here are event descriptions in various lengths for different platforms:
