The Folk Dancing by the Fountain dance series continues tonight at 7:00pm at Copley Square Park, and it looks like we will have another gorgeous evening.
The festivities are FREE to all - and brought to you by the good people of the Folk Arts Center of New England  - come on down!

Tonight - Henry Goldberg and Janet Yeracaris will lead the dancing to the high-energy tunes of Conical Cacophony https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1Ao4p88NYM/, Boston's own Balkan Brass Band.
Much fun will ensue. :-)

We will be dancing in the Plaza, and the “Raised Grove” is available for sitting and listening.
Here is the map of Copley Square Park:

Hope to see you there!

Jim

Getting There https://maps.app.goo.gl/AejRdPs1nHA1ttry7:
Public transportation is still a great option to get to Copley Square (Copley Station on the Green Line; Back Bay Station on the Orange Line).
But if you prefer to drive, there are nearby parking lots, plus "on street" parking available, but use an app like SpotHero to find/reserve a space.

Below is a summary of parking options - it looks like the rates after 5:00pm are $10-$12.
If anyone has any better options that they discivered last week - please share by responding to this email - thanks!

Parking garages
Several parking garages are located in and around Copley Square, offering varying hours and price points:
Clarendon Street Garage https://www.google.com/viewer/place?mid=%2Fg%2F1tdph6db: Open 24 hours, this garage offers a $10 flat rate for parking after 5 pm. It's described as convenient and inexpensive for evening parking. It also provides easy access to the Copley Green Line and Back Bay Orange Line T stations.
Back Bay Garage https://www.google.com/viewer/place?mid=%2Fg%2F11j84wp6f0: Open 24 hours, this garage offers a convenient location near the Mass Pike entrance. It's praised for being clean, safe, and having clear signage. Weekend parking is a great value at $10. Weekday evening pricing is also just $10.
Street Parking
Metered street parking is available in the Copley Square area. Be aware of parking restrictions and enforcement hours, which typically extend until 6 or 8 PM. Enforcement hours may be listed on signage near parking meters.

Parking apps
Several apps can help you find and reserve parking in Boston, including Copley Square:
SpotHero: Allows you to book parking in advance, guaranteeing a spot and providing upfront pricing information.
ParkBoston: The official City of Boston parking app, lets you pay for metered parking on your phone and receive alerts when your time is running out.
SPOT: This app connects you with private parking spaces, including driveways and garages, offered by individuals.
Veer: Helps you compare parking garage rates and find the cheapest options available.
