A bunch of your folk dance friends are devoted members of the Waltham
Philharmonic Orchestra: David and Jane Salstein (piano/keyboard and flute),
Barbara Pixton (bass), Carol Kycia (Violin 1), Ralphs Iverson (Viola) Paula
Rosenstock (Violin 2).

Our orchestra is having our 40th Anniversary Gala *this Saturday night *in
Waltham.
We are playing Strauss waltzes and polkas. The conductor....and I am sure
the audience would be pleased if folks got up to dance!

On the program are also favorite opera arias with beautiful local
singers.
And...lots of food provided by local Waltham restaurants.
Our galas are always fun, and Michael, our conductor, is always full of
surprises!

Saturday, May 10, at 7PM at the American Legion Post at 215 Waverly Oaks
Road, Waltham.  More information and the ticket link are available a
t:
www.wphil.org.

We hope you can join us!

And last night the singers came to rehearsal...they are fabulous! It was
amazing to hear those voices up close and personal! I left rehearsal
smiling and joyous. Come if you can!
I would especially love to see some dancers enjoying our polkas and waltzes!
