Here is my blurb from before: [2]Romanian Orchestra Play-Along, Concert & Party [3]with Ralph Iverson & Friends I am writing to let you know about a one time unusual special event for musicians, listeners and dancers. My longtime friend and Barn Dancer devotee (starting back in the 1980s) Ralph Iverson, will be leading an orchestra session featuring Romanian music (including that from Transylvania). This is for the sheer enjoyment of playing the music. Sheet music will be provided for these accessible tunes. (Musicians - let us know if you want dots ahead) (Dancers - let us know if you want dance preview links) No need to be a musician or dancer to join in the fun. We will serve a special dinner in the barn followed by more music (for listening or dancing). Since this is a somewhat different and experimental event, I am making a special effort to let all of my friends know about it, and would be oh so grateful if you at least forward this message to a few of your friends (whether you can join us or not). I'm using the session as a motivation to refurbish and restring my Greek santouri, which I can play as a cimbalom doing chordal accompaniment to this music which is so much fun!
