Hi all -
FAC’s Folk Dancing by the Fountain dance series begins tonight at 7:00pm, with a happy return to Copley Square Park.  While the entire park renovation is not yet complete, the Plaza across from Boston Public Library is ready, and is a beautiful space for dancing.

Andy Taylor will be tonight’s dance leader, presenting a program of international dances, with recorded music of our favorite dance tunes.
Dancing is FREE, so come on down to join the fun!

Public transportation is a great option to get here (Copley Station on the Green Line; Back Bay Station on the Orange Line).
But if you prefer to drive, there are nearby parking lots, plus "on street" parking available, but use an app like SpotHero to find/reserve a space.

Below is an AI generated summary of parking options - impressive!  It looks like the rates after 5:00pm are $10-$12.

Parking garages
Several parking garages are located in and around Copley Square, offering varying hours and price points:
Clarendon Street Garage https://www.google.com/viewer/place?mid=%2Fg%2F1tdph6db: Open 24 hours, this garage offers a $10 flat rate for parking after 5 pm. It's described as convenient and inexpensive for evening parking. It also provides easy access to the Copley Green Line and Back Bay Orange Line T stations.

City Place Garage (Pilgrim Parking): This 24-hour garage in the South End offers convenient and secure parking. It's noted for being clean, well-lit, and reasonably priced. However, it may be packed and difficult to find a spot during peak times

Street Parking
Metered street parking is available in the Copley Square area. Be aware of parking restrictions and enforcement hours, which typically extend until 6 or 8 PM. Enforcement hours may be listed on signage near parking meters.
