We want to share information about this exciting upcoming concert hosted by our friends at the Henry  Purcell Society of Boston:

The Henry Purcell Society of Boston warmly invites you to the program, "The Inevitability of Love," a candlelit concert, featuring the brilliant Filigree Ensemble, on Friday, February 21, from 8:00 to 10:00 PM, at the charming First Parish in Lincoln.

This program is an intimate journey into the multifaceted world of love. Through the exquisite works of Scarlatti, Purcell, Morley, Henry Lawes, and others, you’ll experience the drama, humor, and passion that love inspires—brought to life by Filigree’s innovative approach to historical performance.

Filigree, founded in 2022 by Christina Kay and Kim Leeds, is reshaping how we experience classical music. Each performance is uniquely crafted, blending the elegance of early music with the boldness of contemporary creativity. Joining them for this enchanting evening are the gifted Cullen O’Neill and Andrus Madsen.

The performance will be held at the First Parish in Lincoln, nestled in the heart of historic Lincoln. The venue provides a wonderful acoustic, providing the setting of a magical haven with candlelight and twinkle lights, creating a delightful ambiance for an unforgettable evening. There will be a wine and cheese reception afterward where you can mingle and chat with the performers.
